This project was completed within the duration of 1 month as part of my work as a UX/UI & Graphic Designer under Global iTS.

Introduction

Our goal was to create a local Real Estate management platform within Bahrain.

Project Objectives

Global iTS seeks to launch a new brand to attract real estate/property buyers to purchase lands and properties through their social media presence and website, easing the process of purchase by providing the details online on the brand's social media/website. The goals were to:

  • Keep the brand recognizable and friendly to locals but still welcoming to non-locals

  • Create an easy-to-navigate, catalogue-like Instagram

  • Ensure properties are easily searchable on the website

Research

Competitive Analysis

Research around local and global real estate brands was conducted. Website style, branding direction, colors, brand voice, and features were observed.

The following were the findings:

  • Users want to quickly scan posts for information without opening the posts

  • Users are cautious and prefer clearly trustworthy and reputable brands

  • Users often browse listings on mobile and prefer a fast, clean, and informative interface

User Research Insights

To better understand the target audience, informal interviews and online behavior observation were used. These helped inform our approach to both the brand identity and user experience.

Key insights included:

  • Preference for minimalist layouts with clear pricing and location info

  • Trust is a major factor—users feel reassured by testimonials, clear contact details, and certifications

  • Bilingual content (Arabic and English) increases accessibility and trust

  • Most users access listings via mobile and want quick loading times and tap-friendly design

User Personas

1. Ahmed – The Explorer (Archetype: Explorer)

  • Age: 30

  • Tech-savvy and prefers browsing via mobile

  • Curious about new investment opportunities and locations

  • Seeks transparency and flexibility when exploring options

  • Values visual clarity and detailed descriptions

2. Lina– The Caregiver (Archetype: Caregiver)

  • Age: 42

  • Searching for a safe and nurturing home environment for her family

  • Prefers features that support family life: school proximity, safety, neighborhood

  • Values responsive customer support and Arabic language accessibility

  • Seeks brands that feel trustworthy and protective of her interests

Branding Direction

The brand identity was crafted to be clean, modern, and trustworthy. The name "Lakum" (meaning "For You" in Arabic) was selected to reflect the brand's approachable and customer-focused mission.

A dual-language logo was created to enhance inclusivity, featuring both English and Arabic versions. The typography chosen was sleek and modern, aiming to appeal to a younger audience while still feeling professional.

The color palette consisted of elegant, deep blues with gradients to convey reliability, depth, and calm—attributes often associated with real estate and long-term investment.

Website and promotional material followed this branding, using strong visual contrast and clean layouts. The homepage featured high-rise visuals and the tagline: “Explore the Lakum difference and embark on a journey towards a refined and comfortable lifestyle.”

The result was a cohesive and professional identity that positioned the brand as both local and upscale.

Final Outcomes

  • A fully functional and responsive WordPress website was created using Elementor, tailored to both desktop and mobile experiences.

  • The site featured a bilingual interface, property filtering options, and an easy-to-use content management system for client updates.

  • A modern Instagram catalog layout was designed to highlight key property features in a clean, image-first format.

  • A complete branding kit was delivered, including logo variations, brand colors, typography, and sample layouts.

The project successfully launched on time, and internal feedback from Global iTS highlighted its polished, professional tone and local appeal. The branding was considered memorable, while the UI offered clarity and simplicity for users of all tech levels.
