Overview

For the 2023 UI Design challenge, I focused on enhancing the visual appeal of the Mystiglam app, a fictional magic-themed makeup brand, without delving into UX considerations. My objective was to create an aesthetically pleasing interface that encapsulates the enchanting essence of the brand. To inform my design choices, I conducted research within the beauty app landscape and gathered insights from makeup enthusiasts.

Solution

Drawing from my research, I crafted a visually captivating interface for the Mystiglam app. The design features thematic visuals, an intuitive layout, and imaginative elements that align with the magical aesthetic. While omitting UX components, I incorporated innovative filters and search functionalities for users to explore magical makeup products effortlessly. The design also introduces a social element for users to share mystical looks and engage with the brand.

Results

Although designed without UX considerations, the Mystiglam app received positive feedback for its visually appealing interface, successfully reflecting the magical brand. Users appreciated the seamless navigation and thematic visuals. While not intended for actual app launch, this project highlights my proficiency in creating engaging and visually compelling UI designs tailored to the brand's identity.
